I love red meat. Sadly almost all USA beef is loaded with steroids, hormones and the bad karma of animal cruelty. The cure? Bison! and it tastes better too!

The American Buffalo, plural is Bison, is an amazing animal and eating it is good for you. IT kept the native American Indians strong for thousands of years and it can get you ripped.

I was recently introduced to Buffalo meat and I can’t ever go back to beef.

Benefits of buffalo meat ( also known as Bison )

Bison tastes better than beef. It has a lighter sweeter more lively flavor and does not taste gamey

Bison has 70-90% less fat than beef. There is never that greasy taste in your mouth.

Bison has 50% less cholesterol than beef. Big bonus to heart health.

Bison has 25% more protein than beef. This makes it an awesome food for building lean muscle.

Bison has incredibly high iron levels for meat which lead Reader Digest magazine to list it as a top 5 food for women.

Bison is rich in the essential fatty acids.

Bison has no steroids or hormones added. The FDA forbids it so we can count on Bison always being free of feminizing hormones.

Bison is almost always grass fed so we can eat it with good karma.

Bison also has uncommonly high levels of zinc, phosphorus, niacin, vitamin B6 and B12

Did I forget to mention bison tastes amazing!

Bison meat is so nutrient dense it is simply amazing to behold. It tastes even better than it is good for you! Notice the extremely high protein, iron and low fat!

Where you can get Bison meat

The buffalo herds are making a comeback thanks to private ranches. They were nearly wiped out with the Indians. You can get Bison meat at

Your local farmers market

Soy products are highly processed and genetically modified. They are to be avoid or limited to condiments only, such as soy sauce as Asians do, or raw unprocessed soy such as edamame.

Soy beans were not meant to be consumed in mass quantities by humans, nor were they meant to undergo the harsh processing and genetic modification they do in the USA. Soy is no longer health food.

Many of my readers have asked “Is soy milk ok?”

The answer is NO.

Soy Milk and most soy products are to be avoid or limited to condiments only, such as soy sauce as Asians do, or raw unprocessed soy such as edamame.

Consuming soy milk and soy products can raise your estrogen levels. Estrogen is a feminizing steroid and it just makes you retain more water and fat. Even worse is that your body naturally drops your testosterone levels if your estrogen levels are high. This is a disaster if your goal is to build muscle and lose fat. Soy is bad for both men and women but men have more to lose.

Testosterone helps build bigger and stronger muscles in addition to many other positive effects, especially for men. Estrogen makes you retain more water and fat. If you consume soy products several times a week or worse daily, your estrogen levels will quickly rise and your testosterone levels will fall. The result is it will be harder to maintain your current level of muscle or put on new muscle. Your mood will also degrade since testosterone is a mood enhancer.

My personal top 5 worst soy side effects

Soy raises your estrogen, which causes you to retain more water and fat.

Soy lowers testosterone in men which shrinks your muscles, degrades your mood and weakens cognitive functions. So you are weaker, more depressed and can’t think straight. Not Good! Read below to see what happened when an entire prison was put on an all soy diet.

Soy foods lower your sex drive (Japanese housewives would feed more soy to their husbands to reduce their virility when they feared infidelity or pregnancy) Soy’s has also been proven to lead to infertility in males.

Soy milk and soy foods are not complete proteins as soy beans are deficient in sulfur-containing amino acids methionine and cystine. The soy processing treatments also damages the essential amino acid lysine. Relying on soy for your protein is a mistake.

Soy carbohydrates are the king of flatulence. You produce exceptional amounts of musical gas on soy. Not the best thing for your social life.

Q: If Soy is so bad for you then why is there so much of it around? Don’t Asians eat lots of soy products?

The problem is that soy is now being consumed on a mass scale as a replacement for animal protein. Vegans and vegetarians have turned to soy as an alternative to dangerous pasteurized milk and diary and naturally the market responded by catering to this demand.

The problem is that soy was never meant to be consumed in such large quantities. If you add up all the soy milk, tofu and other soy products such as tempheh etc.. that the average vegan gets daily it could amount to a thousand raw unprocessed soy beans.

Eating 1000 soy beans a day is NOT natural

It takes many many soy beans to make just a pound of tofu, this is how extreme soy processing is. a 1000 of anything a day is unnatural and it can devastate your hormonal system, digestive track and everyday more negative research comes out about the unnaturally large consumption of soy.

Asians consume on average of two teaspoons of soy daily mostly as condiments. The other soy they get is as the raw edible soy bean, unprocessed and natural.

The politics and economics of this mass soy consumption phenomena deserve their own article but a bit of common sense can show you how we got here. The whole vegetarian craze helped push soy products into the market. They have been billed as a good way for vegetarian and vegans to get their protein. The truth is there are much better sources of protein for Vegans than soy protein.

The soy industry is now big business. Soy products brought in a total of 4 billion dollars last year. This means they can afford their fair share of advertising and propaganda just like all other food industries. Soy is no longer the hip new kid on the block.

Soy is even worse than we thought

New studies are showing us how prolonged soy product consumption can lead to all manner of health defects. For example 288 Studies Showing the Toxicity of Soy in the US Food & Drug Administration’s Poisonous Plant Database (7.5M PDF)

Dangers of Soy Dr Weston A. Price summarizes the dangers of soy very throughly on his website.

High levels of phytic acid in soy reduce assimilation of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. Phytic acid in soy is not neutralized by ordinary preparation methods such as soaking, sprouting and long, slow cooking. High phytate diets have caused growth problems in children.

Trypsin inhibitors in soy interfere with protein digestion and may cause pancreatic disorders. In test animals soy containing trypsin inhibitors caused stunted growth.

Soy phytoestrogens disrupt endocrine function and have the potential to cause infertility and to promote breast cancer in adult women.

Soy phytoestrogens are potent antithyroid agents that cause hypothyroidism and may cause thyroid cancer. In infants, consumption of soy formula has been linked to autoimmune thyroid disease.

Vitamin B12 analogs in soy are not absorbed and actually increase the body’s requirement for B12.

Soy foods increase the body’s requirement for vitamin D.

Fragile proteins are denatured during high temperature processing to make soy protein isolate and textured vegetable protein.

Processing of soy protein results in the formation of toxic lysinoalanine and highly carcinogenic nitrosamines.

Free glutamic acid or MSG, a potent neurotoxin, is formed during soy food processing and additional amounts are added to many soy foods.

Soy foods contain high levels of aluminum which is toxic to the nervous system and the kidneys.

Soy Prison

It might seem like soy is hard to avoid now but what happens when an entire population is forced to consume largely soy foods?

In Illinois an entire prison was put on an almost all soy diet. This was done at the command of the govenor. He claimed with was for financial reasons as soy is far less expensive than animal protein but the fact that Archer Daniels Midland, the main supplier of soy products to the Illinois prisons has donated to his campaign was never mentioned by him.

Prisoner complaints include chronic and painful constipation alternating with debilitating diarrhea, vomiting after eating, sharp pains in the digestive tract, especially after consuming soy, passing out, heart palpitations, rashes, acne, insomnia, panic attacks, insomnia, depression and symptoms of hypothyroidism, such as low body temperature (feeling cold all the time), brain fog, fatigue, weight gain, frequent infections and enlarged thyroid gland. Since soy contains anti-fertility compounds, many young prisoners may be unable to father children after their release. Some of them have even had to have their digestive tracts shortned.

Q: Are there benefits to Soy?

If you are a woman that has reached menopause then yes. Women in menopause experience a drastic drop in their estrogen levels. Thus consuming soy will naturally help balance them out.

If you are a man that is losing his hair and want to have save a bit of hair in exchange for losing muscle, sex drive, cognitive function, bone integrity and don’t mind being bloated and having more belly fat then yes, consuming 20 grams of soy daily can help you keep some more hair.

Q: Is soy formula good for my baby?

NO ! Do not give soy to children!

In test animals, diets high in soy which contains large quantities of trypsin inhibitors led to stunted growth and pancreatic disorders.

Soy foods increase the body’s requirement for vitamin D, needed for strong bones and normal growth.

Phytic acid in soy foods results in reduced bioavailabilty of iron and zinc which are required for the health and development of the brain and nervous system.

Soy also lacks cholesterol, likewise essential for the development of the brain and nervous system.

Megadoses of phytoestrogens in soy formula have been implicated in the current trend toward increasingly premature sexual development in girls and delayed or retarded sexual development in boys.

Is high in sugars that can damage your child’s naturally developing metabolic rate and liver. Too much sugar early can be especially dangerous for infants and younger children. Soy milk is not much better than soda for kids.

Q: So should I cut soy out completely?

No. Soy is to be enjoyed in moderation.

The Soy Bean itself /Edamame. If I am going to have soy it is going to be unprocessed and natural. Sadly 80% of all soy beans grown in the USA are Genetically Modified.

Soy sauce. The only soy sauce I will touch is Nama Shoyu, it translates into Raw Soy Sauce in Japanese. It is uncooked and unprocessed. Other than that I avoid soy completely and so should you.

Avoid Soy Milk, it is high in sugar, spieks your estrogen the fastest of all soy products and can’t hold a candle to raw milk, which is how milk was meant to be enjoyed before being poisoned by milk pasteurization.

The mornings are the perfect time to have your greens and some protein in liquid form to supercharge your muscles and not tax your digestive system.

The whole idea of breakfast turns alot of people off.

People see breakfast as a chore as opposed to a pleasure. People have the same idea about greens. Eating your greens is seen as hard work. Is it possible to combine breakfast and greens, two things people avoid and turn it into something they will crave and wake up early for?

Yes! This amazing Green Protein Potion is like something out of a video game. Be prepared to just feel stronger after having it.

The Benefits of this Amazing Green Smoothie

Increased energy – The lemon, mesquite, maca and blue green algae’s all have metabolic boosting effects.

Regularity and digestive health throughout the day – The Greens give you a tremendous amount of fiber for maximum regularity.

Increased muscle rejuvenation – The protein in this drink has a 98.8% absorbency by the human body. The blue green algae protein in it has an even higher absorption rate; 99.6%

Long Lasting Energy – The Low Glycemic and nature of this shake is amazing. The only sugar in it is from the apple. Various other ingredients such as the cinnamon and maca also help to keep your sugar levels balanced.

Green Protein Potion Recipe

1 Young Thai Coconut, water and meat

2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil

1-2 cups greens ( dandelions, spinach, kale, swiss chard or organic lettuce )

1 tablespoon of Raw Honey

1 Apple

1 whole Lemon

1teaspoon sea salt

1/2 a teaspoon of Stevia

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

1 tablespoon spoon of Mesquite

1 tablespoon spoon of Lúcuma

1 tablespoon tablespoon of Maca

1 scoop of Sun Warrior Protein

1tablespoonof Blue Green Algae (E3 Live) or Spirulina

Blend it, in Style

Put this all into a blender until it is consistent. I Highly recommend the VitaMix 5200 Blender. It is expensive but it will change the way you eat and drink.

The Science of the Green Protein Potion

Each of these ingredients is amazing and together they make the ultimate food. I have this every morning. It keeps me going through an intense 3 hour boxing training session and I even have a jar of it afterwards to feed my muscles and regulate my blood sugar. This translates into even energy levels throughout the day.

Young Thai Coconuts are the best coconuts and coconuts in general are amazing. They are the most hydrating liquid you can have because their milk matches the consistency of the plasma in your blood more than any other fluid in nature, other than your own blood of course. Also the milk of a coconut is completely sterile. The coconuts thick shell and complex natural fibers act as a filtration system that totally cleans the water over a period of eight months. WOW Oh and they have an awesome natural sweetness! Coconuts are so good for you I will be writing a Coconut article soon.

Coconut Oil is one of the best fats on earth. We all need good fats. The more active you are the more good fats you need for recovery of muscles and various organs, most importantly the brain. If you are literally growing everyday at a rapid rate then you must have as many good fats as you can get. Coconut oil is also an immune system booster. Nearly 50% of the fatty acid in natural coconut oil is lauric acid. Lauric acid destroys the lipid membrane of such enveloped viruses as HIV, measles, Herpes simplex virus (HSV-1), influenza and cytomegalovirus (CMV). Its usefulness in treating AIDS is currently under investigation. It is a main component of human breast milk and helps protect children from illness during infancy. Find it at your local farmers market or get Raw certified organic Coconut Oil online

Stevia is an amazing all natural sweetener with no sugar! It’s sweetness saturates anything you put it in and it’s glycemic value is near zero so you know your baby’s blood sugar will remain balanced and optimal. The higher our blood sugar goes the more our pancreas must work to process it. This can cause insulin imbalances which can make us more prone to type 1 diabetes. Check out my Best Sweetners Review for more low glycemic Sweetner options.

Cinnamon is one of the most medicinal spices on earth and it makes things taste great. Cinnamon’s essential oils also qualify it as an “anti-microbial” food, and cinnamon has been studied for its ability to help stop the growth of bacteria Cinnamon also contains the mineral chromium which helps you balance your blood sugar. Keeping your baby’s blood sugar balanced is one of the most important things you can do for their health, especially for the future. Too often young children are forced to eat Baby Food that is extremely high in sugar and this is one of the main culprits in juvenile diabetes.

Lúcuma is a popular flavoring for ice cream in in Peru even exceeds the demand for more globally popular flavors such as strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla so you know it tastes great. In fact, it was once referred to as the Gold of the Incas. Lúcuma an excellent source of carbohydrates, fibre, vitamins and minerals. It has lots of beta-carotene, niacin (B3) and iron. It is also low glycemic! Lúcuma powder is an awesome an nutritious sweetener.

Mesquite is of particularly great value to those looking to balance blood sugar levels. Mesquite flour offers a naturally sweet flavor to recipes, but its sugars are derived from fructose (which does not require insulin to digest and is readily metabolized). Additionally, the flour is an excellent form of fiber – meeting almost a quarter of daily needs in just two tablespoons – which not only improves digestion but further benefits sugar metabolism. Mesquite also contains lysine (an amino acid), as well as notable quantities of digestible protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc. As such a balanced food, it is easy to see why our Native American ancestors relied so heavily on mesquite as a staple form of delicious nourishment. Mesquite comes in a powder that is easy to put into anything.

Maca is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, sulfur and iron, and contains trace minerals, including zinc, iodine, copper, selenium, bismuth, manganese and silica, as well as vitamins B1, B2, C and E. Maca contains nearly 20 amino acids and seven essential amino acids.. During the height of the Incan Empire, legend has it that Incan warriors would consume maca before entering into battle. This would make them fiercely strong. But after conquering a city the Incan soldiers were prohibited from using maca, to protect the women from excessive sexual impulses. LOL Now you know why I love it. Maca is an amazing natural aphrodisiac. Maca powder is simplest way to get this amazing supe rfood into nearly anything.

Sun Warrior Protein: Your body needs protein to heal, regenerate and grow. Babies easily use all the protein they can get, much more so than we adults so it is even more important that they get as much of the best protein as possible so they achieve their maximum growth potential. Sun Warrior Protein is the only protein powder I use. The reason? It is actually a real whole food, not just a supplement like every other protein powder out there. It is not made from whey, which is processed from pasteurized milk. Read my Milk article to see why pasteurized dairy products must be avoided.

Blue Green Algae is natures ultimate protein source. It is amazing stuff whose benefits are just to numerous. E3 Live is the top brand of Blue Green Algae but there are many awesome ones. For parents looking for major extra credit then go with Pure Synergy. It is my favorite and it has way more than just the algae. It is a superfood blend of 60 different plants, herbs, and superfoods. This product was developed and perfected over a 20-year period by Mitchell May, PhD. It was originally conceived to help Mitchell May recover from a severe car accident that caused extreme nerve and tissue damage. I put this into all my green smoothies and anything else I can sneak it into.

Dandelions are a great detoxifying agent. Dandelions are also one of the least hybridized crops so you can usually get it as the earth originally made it. Spinach or organic lettuce will also do, or any other green on hand but my current favorite is Dandelions.

Raw Honey is honey straight from the bee’s. It is thicker and has a more natural sweetness. Plain old honey and even organic honey have been pasteurized and often processed so they have lost much of their natural healing properties. Honey has been used as Warrior food by the Spartans, Egyptians and Incas alike.

Apples are one of the best tasting natural sweetners. A fresh fuji apple’s glycemic index is far lower than commercially sold apple juice.

Lemons: Lets talk about just how amazing the common lemon is. In traditional medicine, the lemon is widely known for its healing powers and is used in many different ways. In fact, the lemon is so powerful that it was used by the Romans as their cure for all types of poison. Because of its high vitamin C content, it is thought to help prevent and treat many infections, hasten wound healing and temper down high fever. Lemon juice also relieves symptoms of asthma, tonsillitis and sore throat. Pretty amazing for a fruit we take for granted. The sourness they add works amazingly well with the sweetness of this recipe.

Chocolate is one of the greatest foods on earth.

Everyone I invite over literally drools over this amazing chocolate. They go even wilder when I tell them these amazing chocolates are

100% Organic

100% Raw

100% Vegan – If you choose to use Coconut oil or nut milk instead of dairy raw milk

100% Dark Chocolate

100% Sugar Free – Except a little sucrose from raw organic honey

Has more protein than an egg!

It’s taste is only matched by how good it is for you. YES, raw dark chocolate is good for your health and it can help you lose weight! I will devote an entire article to how good chocolate is for you. In the meantime try this healthy sugar free dark chocolate recipe. Readers have told me that some of these ingredients can be hard to find so I have included online order links.

1 Cups of Coconut Oil (order coconut oil) - required

1 Cups Nut Milk or Raw Milk or More Coconut oil – required - I prefer to use more Coconut oil. It adds an amazing creaminess, is vegan and takes less time that making nut milk

1 Cups of Cacao Butter (order cacao butter) - required

2 Cups Cacao Powder (order cacao powder) - required

1/2 Cup of Raw Honey or Yacon Syrup if you want no sugar (order raw honey) – optional

1 Cups of Berries and smashed Nuts – I combined cashews, macademia nuts, goji berries (order goji berries) and cacao nuts (order cacao nuts)

2 Cups Protein Powder – optional – I used Sun Warrior Raw Vegan Protein powder, use what you have

1/2 tsp Maca Powder (order maca powder) – optional

1 tbsp (secret ingredient #1) – optional

1 tbsp (secret ingredient #2) - optional – an all natural sweetener

1 tbsp (secret ingredient #3) - optional – an all natural sweetener (no sugar)

1tbsp (secret ingredient #4) - optional

1 tsp Stevia – optional - an all natural sweetener (no sugar)

One of these batches can make about 30 pyramids, with the molds I have. The beautiful thing is that these chocolate pyramids are mostly protein, fiber and healthy fats. The only sugar is from the natural raw honey. Eat 5 of them and it is like having the best protein bar ever made. Guilt free chocolate is a big part of keeping your will power high and thus leads to healthy weight loss. Lets get started.

Phase #1 The Butter

First we melt the Cacao butter. The trick here is making sure the Cacao butter is never cooked. It is a living food and cooking it will rob it if it’s amazingly complex nutrients. Heat up some water in a pan on the stove top. Once it gets warm enough take the cacao butter and put it in a glass bowl and set it to float on the water in the pan. Leave it there until the cacao butter is melted.

Then Add the Coconut butter to the floating bowl. Coconut butter can be cooked but it is even better this way and it is already setup.

Add the honey too.

Once everything is nice and melted just take it out of the hot water pan leave the bowl somewhere to cool off.

Phase #2 The Nuts

Take whatever mix of nuts you have and chop them up until they are fine.

Add some berries in there if you can. Goji berries work great as they are dried and chewy.

Phase #3 The Powder

Take all the powers and put it in a bowl. While only the cacao powder is required, the other powders will add protein and guilt free flavor.

Stir the powder until they are all mixed up.

Phase #4 Making Chocolate

Combine the butter with the powder and stir it up

Combine the nuts and berries

Stir it until it reaches a smooth consitent chcolate texture. If it is too watery add more protein and cacao powder. If it is too thick then add some more coconut oil, raw milk or nut milk.

Pull out your chocolate molds and fill them up.

Throw it all into the freezer for 20 minutes

Take some Maca and sprinkle the top of the pyramids with them. The Pyramids in Egypt were covered in a thick layer of limestone when they were built. When the sun rose the light reflected off the limestone such that the pyramids glowed with power. Over time the soft limestone wore out, except for the very peaks. The golden Maca on the tops of these pyramids borrows a bit of that charm from the Pyramids of Giza.

Eat the best Dark Chocolate you ever had without guilt.

raw vegan dumplings

Dumplings have always been a favorite food of mine.

Sneaking off to NYC’s Chinatown for a feast of these pork filled, deep fried, white flour battered tasty delights brings back fond memories. Well, memories are not good enough. I WANT MY DUMPLINGS NOW!

We all deserve dumplings! Dumplings should taste great and be good for you. By good I don’t just mean made of the best ingredients and “healthy”. Dumplings should put muscle and you and get you ripped! That is what health means to me.

Why are these Dumplings so good for you?

No Carbohydrates

Tons of Protein

Good Fats

Lots of Fiber

Only natural low glycemic sugar

These Raw Vegan Curry Dumplings have NO CARBOHYDRATES!!!! Yes that is right, you can eat these things all day. I skipped my protein smoothie and just ate them yesterday. They are just Protein, Fiber and Good Fats. The only sugar in them is the sugar from the nuts. WOW!!! Lets just do it now.

Raw Vegan Curry Dumplings Recipe

This is a simple Recipe that comes in three parts.

Dumpling Stuffing

Almond Nut Paste – any kind of nut will do. Experiment

1 Avocado chopped

4 Garlic cloves finely chopped

1 Leek finely chopped – I used the white part only and the green part for a salad later

4 Cups Greens finely chopped. I used a mixture of Dandelions, Kale, Celery and Cilantro. Use whatever greens you have.

Dumpling Skin

A whole head of Cabbage ( one whole leaf per dumpling ) Maybe two whole heads of cabbage depending on how much dumpling stuffing you have.

Curry Sauce of Krishna ( Feel free to make much more of this to use in other things

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 Cup of Almond Nut Milk

Coconut Water from a whole young Thai Coconut

1 Teaspoon Turmeric

1 Teaspoon Cumin

1 Teaspoon Cardamom

1 Teaspoon Grahm Masala

4 cloves of Garlic

1/2 cup Onions

1/2 Teaspoon Cheyenne

How to prepare

First Get the Curry Sauce Ready. Mix all the Curry sauce Ingredients together in a bowl and stir. The tough part here is the Almond milk.

To make Almond Milk & Almond Paste you should

Soak a cup of Almonds in water for at least 2 hours.

Then throw them into the blender with twice as much water and Blend until fine. The VitaMix 5200 is the only blender I know that does this job. It’s expensive but worth it. Once you have it all blended then you will have to seperate the milk from almond fiber. For that you will need a Nut Milk Bag. To get a Nut Milk Bag check out my Tools & Appliances page.

Put the nut milk bag into a pot and then pour the almond milk into it. Watch as the liquid part seeps through the porous nut milk bag. Squeeze the nut milk into the pot by massaging the bag. You will then have a cup of Almond Nut Milk and a bunch of Almond Nut paste. We will use the Almond Nut paste for the Dumpling stuffing.

To make the Dumplings

Take some cabbage leaves and put them in a pot with a little water, put the lid on and put it on the lowest heat you can. Leave them in there until they wilt enough to handle easily. As long as the heat doesn’t go over 118 degrees it is still considered raw and if it isn’t oh well Should take about 10 minutes. It may help to decore the cabbage with a knife before peeling off the leaves.

Combine all the ingredients for the Dumpling Stuffing into a big bowl and mash and stir until it is all nice and consistent. Depending on the ripeness of the Avocado you might need to mash for a while longer.

Mix in the Curry Sauce and stir until the stuffing and sauce are at a good consistency.

Your cabbage leaves should now be ready to stuff. Take a cabbage leaf lay it down and put in a chunk of the Dumpling Stuffing. Try and wrap them tightly.

Put the left over cabbage into the steaming pot so that the bottom of the pot is covered. Then add some Bragg’s sauce or Soy Sauce. This will keep the dumplings from getting too hot or breaking apart from the heat. It also gives you yummy soy flavored cabbage to munch on after all the dumplings are done For me the best part is nothing is wasted.

Put the dumplings back into the pot to steam for a just a little while longer. Take them out and serve on a plate or in the pot and you are done!

Can vegans really get all the protein they need easily and from what?

Yes! Vegans can easily get all the protein they were getting before they went vegan and even more, way more!

Quinoa: The Incas rolled quinoa up into little “War Balls” and ave it to their warriors before battle. Quinoa is a super grain that is actually closer to grass than rice . I consider it the ultimate replacement for white rice. Quinoa is a complete protein and has all the amino acids. The protein to carb ratio in quinoa, especially Red Bolivian Quinoa is extremely high. Quinoa’s carbs are also of the highest quality and I find they give me an awesome prolonged energy boost. People sprout quinoa and use it in salads. I love adding quinoa to my brown basmati rice with lentils and having an awesome rice replacement with protein galore.
